Calendar of Availability

This form is for booking a  group or school, if you are an individual please see our public show times such as our Free Fridays, Star Parties, Open Hours, etc. The calendar below is subject to change without notice. Once this form is completed, you will receive a confirmation email from CSC Conferencing. Please contact Conferencing, 308-432-6380 or conferencing@csc.edu, if you do not receive confirmation or you would like to change dates within 5 business days of placing your reservation. Reservations must be made at least one week in advance of the show.

Saturday events need to be discussed with the Director prior to booking a reservation. All Saturday events require a 2-week’s advance notice.

Groups (parties, reunions, etc.) must consist of 8 or more people to make a reservation, while educational groups (schools, clubs, etc.) must have 6 or more people to make a reservation.

Your group must arrive on time as the planetarium is operated by student workers. Please be aware that if your group is less than 20 minutes late, your group will receive a shortened show. If your group is more than 20 minutes late, the planetarium will be unable to accommodate your group, and your show will be canceled. If your group is a no-show or is more than 20 minutes late, there will be a $50 cancellation fee to accommodate for the student worker’s time.

The planetarium will be closed during summer and winter break to allow our student workers to focus on their exams and enjoy their breaks with their families. We will also be closed on dates when Chadron State College is closed, or no classes are scheduled. Examples include fall break, midterm break, Thanksgiving, and government holidays.
