Eligibility:

• Be a rural Nebraska resident or graduate of a Nebraska High School. (Students must be from outside of the Omaha-Lincoln metropolitan regions; if you live outside of Omaha, Ralston, Boys Town, Elkhorn, Lincoln, Bellevue, Papillion, La Vista, Chalco, and Offutt Air Force Base you should be eligible).
• Chadron State's pre-health program is centered upon the hallmarks of our rural region. We work hard and recognize the value of continual improvement and are dedicated to making a difference for those around us. Our faculty and staff create an environment where all have the opportunity to gain the knowledge and skills from a long-standing and highly successful pre-health program. • The RHOP selection process is competitive. We are looking for students who are committed to enhancing access to rural Nebraska health care; reveal their research into and knowledge of their healthcare program; exhibit strong academic potential and solid academic work ethics; are well-rounded as shown in participating student activities, leadership, and/or community engagement; and will thrive in our close-knit learning community. 
• CSC RHOP requires specified academic coursework, academic success, participation in the Health Professions Club, and modeling professional codes of conduct and behavior.
