Certificate of Advanced Studies in Mathematics
This Certificate of Advanced Studies in Mathematics addresses that need by providing graduate-level coursework that enables high school mathematics teachers to meet the content qualifications required to teach dual-credit and Advanced Placement courses. Designed for individuals who already hold a bachelor’s degree in mathematics, the certificate offers a focused pathway to complete the necessary graduate education without pursuing an additional full degree.
The certificate consists of graduate mathematics courses currently listed in the college catalog and offered on a rotating basis across fall, spring, and summer terms. Students may complete the required 18 graduate credits in as few as two semesters at Chadron State College, allowing educators to quickly expand instructional capacity and better serve their districts and students.
