Assistant Professor of Military Science

Captain Andrew Hunt serves as an Assistant Professor of Military Science at Chadron State College in Chadron, Nebraska, where he is responsible for educating, training, and mentoring cadets to become leaders of character in service to the Nation.

A native of Lincoln, Nebraska, CPT Hunt graduated from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln in 2018 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice and was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the Medical Service Corps. His military education includes the Army Medical Department Basic Officer Leader Course (AMEDD BOLC), Initial Entry Rotary Wing (IERW), UH-60 Track, Medical Evacuation Doctrine, the Airborne and Air Assault Courses.

In his 13 years of service, CPT Hunt has served in a variety of positions. His assignments include Platoon Leader and Flight Operations Officer, Delta Company, 1-376th Aviation Regiment; Aviation Liaison, Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 1-376th Aviation Regiment; Current Operations Officer, Joint Task Force North; and Platoon Leader, Golf Company, 2-104th General Support Aviation Battalion. His operational experience includes a mobilization in support of U.S. Customs and Border Protection during the Southwest Border Mission.

CPT Hunt’s awards and decorations include the Joint Service Commendation Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Joint Service Achievement Medal, Army Achievement Medal, the Army Aviator Badge, Parachutist Badge, and the Air Assault Badge.

He is married to his wife, Jenna, and they have three children: Emma, Gavin, and Lainey. In his free time, CPT Hunt enjoys running, competing in obstacle course races, working out, grilling, and exploring new places with his family.

Military Science Instructor

ROTC

Sergeant First Class (SFC) Bubba Page enlisted in the Nebraska Army National Guard in December 2008 as an 88M Motor Transport Operator (Truck Driver). He completed Basic Combat Training and Advanced Individual Training (AIT) in September 2009 at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri.

He’s conducted training in Utah, California, Louisiana, Ohio, North Carolina, Texas, Iowa, South Dakota, Arkansas, Virginia and Oregon. In 2016, he transitioned to 79T National Guard Recruiting and Retention Non-Commissioned Officer after attending the Recruiting and Retention School at Camp Robinson, Arkansas. Continuing his professional development, he graduated from Air Assault School at Camp Rilea, Oregon, in 2019, followed by Rappel Master School at Fort Pickett, Virginia, in 2021. In 2024, SFC Page further expanded his expertise by completing the Holistic Health and Fitness Integrator Course at Fort Cavazos, Texas.

In January 2025, SFC Page was reassigned to a Military Science Instructor position at Chadron State College’s Army ROTC program after nine years serving in the Recruiting and Retention Battalion.

SFC Page holds a Master of Arts in Strategic Leadership from the University of Charleston, West Virginia, and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Wayne State College. Among his many accolades, he is the 199th recipient of the Military Police Friend of the Regiment Award. Also included in his accolades are three Army Commendation Medals, 3 Army Achievement medals, Army Good Conduct Medal.

SFC Page has resided in Chadron since 2015, with his wife of nine years, Angela, a second-grade teacher at Chadron Primary School, and their two children, Blair (7) and Bodie (2).
