CHADRON – Faculty and staff at Chadron State College are gearing up for the annual Signing Day events for incoming freshmen and transfer students. This year, the Orientation, Transition and Retention (OTR) team, in charge of planning these events will offer freshmen events April 15, April 26, June 17 and June 27. The first transfer event was April 8 and another is planned for June 10.

CHADRON – Bruce Hoem, an associate professor in the department of Counseling, Psychological Sciences and Social Work, was named the recipient of the 2016 Chadron State College Teaching Excellence Award Thursday at the annual Faculty and Staff Recognition Luncheon. He received a $1,000 check from the Chadron State Foundation and is a finalist for the Nebraska State College System Teaching Excellence Award.
