CHADRON – Jenna McBride of Victorville, California, is the Project Strive/TRiO Student of the Month for December. She discovered Chadron State College through her maternal grandfather, Donald Hays, a 1969 CSC graduate, who accompanied McBride on her campus visit.

CHADRON – Achievements were plentiful at Chadron State College in 2015, but the biggest highlight also hosted the largest celebration. More than 200 people celebrated with alumni, supporters, education leaders and elected officials Sept. 26 at the dedication of the Rangeland Complex and the Chicoine Center.

CHADRON – Chadron State College commencement exercises are scheduled for Friday, Dec. 18. Distinguished Alumni Award recipient Ronn Jeffrey will serve as the speaker for the undergraduate ceremony in the Chicoine Center at 4 p.m. The event, featuring 145 candidates, will be broadcast live at csc.edu/live.

CHADRON – Chadron State College students in Museum Studies 331, Exhibit Design, hosted a reception Tuesday, Dec. 8, in the Main Gallery of Memorial Hall. The reception was a chance for the students to show their end of semester exhibit projects and to interact with the public.
