CHADRON – Nine new Chadron State College employees will join the faculty ranks this semester. They are Dr. David Christensen, Trudy Denham, Nathaniel Doherty, Dr. Gary Dusek, Dr. Aaron Field, Dr. Peter Moriasi, John Staben, Dr. Jeremy Weremeichik and Dr. Tara Wilson. Two faculty members, Chris McCarthy and Brittany Helmbrecht, are returning in new capacities.

CHADRON – Chadron State College alumna Kelsey Hinesley, of Edgemont, South Dakota, earned a Silver in the Student Print-Poster subcategory and an Honorable Mention in the overall student category in the 2015 International Design Awards (IDA) in June for “Fluidity,” a ballet publicity campaign and exhibition plan.

CHADRON – In honor of Constitution Day, the Mari Sandoz High Plains Heritage Center presents “The Blessings of Liberty: The U.S. Constitution,” an exhibition organized by Humanities Texas. The exhibit will be open to the public Sept. 15 through Oct. 14.
