LINCOLN – Nebraska State College System Chancellor Stan Carpenter said Dana College students will be given special consideration for the fall semester should they transfer to Chadron, Peru or Wayne State Colleges. College officials will also assist the students with housing needs, financial aid and registration.

Dr. George Watson, Chadron State College professor of justice studies, died Saturday after a battle with pancreatic cancer. A memorial service is set for Friday, July 2, at 10 a.m. in the ballroom of the CSC Student Center.
