Flutist Franziska Nabb, a native of Munich, Germany, will perform during a rare summertime concert hosted by the Chadron State College Department of Music. The performance, which is open to the public free of charge, will be Monday, July 2, at 7:30 p.m. in the Chicoine Atrium of the Sandoz Center.

The new Miss Nebraska is Chadron State College senior Mariah Cook. She was crowned Saturday night in North Platte, and will represent the state at the Miss America Pageant in Las Vegas in January.
