CHADRON – Chadron State College Mathematics Professor Dr. Beth Wentworth recently received the Milton W. Beckman Lifetime Achievement Award at the Nebraska Association of Teachers of Mathematics (NATM) annual conference in Kearney. The NATM board established the award in 1989 to honor outstanding educators who have spent their careers working to improve mathematics education in Nebraska.

CHADRON – Three families – Bunch-Lingelbach, Epp and Neubauer families – were honored for attending Chadron State College during Homecoming. Each family includes three generations of graduates. CHADRON – A former research chemist at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln who died in March left more than $1 million dollars for an endowment that will provide scholarships for students at Chadron State College.
