CSC music instructor Charles Carey shared his tribute to guitarist Pat Metheny in the final Graves Lecture of the fall semester Tuesday. The location of the event was moved to Memorial Hall so that Carey and other musicians could perform several selections of Metheny’s music.

A former Chadron State College faculty member, Dr. Larry Agenbroad, died on Friday, Oct. 31 in Hot Springs, South Dakota. He was 81.

A Chadron State graduate and a professor and coach at the college for 25 years, Marjie Ann Smith of Chadron, died Wednesday, Oct. 29 in Scottsbluff after battling cancer for several months. She was 75.

CHADRON -- After nearly three years, a William Artis sculpture has been returned to Chadron State College. In 2012, the sculpture on display in Memorial Hall as part of Chadron State College’s permanent collection, was damaged.
