CHADRON – Chadron State College Justice Studies Instructor Danielle Covolo is one of several authors published in a newly released book titled Transcending Crisis by Attending to Care, Emotion, and Flourishing. Along with six colleagues, she contributed to the chapter titled From Discovery to Recovery: Parents’ Temporal Emotion Practice in Relation to a Child’s Opioid Use Disorder.

CHADRON – Chadron State College’s Food Pantry project coordinator Kate Pope has announced the CSC Food Pantry will be open additional hours during the 2023-24 Academic Year in response to feedback from students. The hours for the pantry, located on the main level of the King Library, will be Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Wednesdays from 4 to 6 p.m.

National Student Clearinghouse (the Clearinghouse), the nation's largest provider of postsecondary transcript services, has recently identified a security breach. This breach, affecting several higher education institutions across the country, potentially includes the Nebraska State Colleges (Chadron State, Peru State and Wayne State Colleges), which utilizes the Clearinghouse for federally mandated enrollment certifications and transcript services.
