Many of you have likely read the about the death of one of our students and the alleged homicide investigation. It has been confirmed that Chadron State College student Kenneth Pfeiffer of Sedascian, Fla., was found dead in his home Friday evening. His roommate, Joseph Hotz of Rushville, Neb., was arrested Friday night by the Chadron Police Department. Chadron State College's teacher education program received high marks from the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education after its examination of the programs this fall. The five-person visitation team gave especially high commendations for the program's use of technology.

The Chadron State College fall 2008 senior art show will open Monday, Dec. 1, in the main gallery of Memorial Hall. The show, "Reveal: A Glimpse into an Artist's Soul," features the works of graduating seniors Abby Christian of Gordon and Theresa Turner of Chadron.
