Dr. Harry E. Holmberg, longtime chairman of the Division of Fine Arts at Chadron State College, died Wednesday afternoon at the Chadron Community Hospital following a brief illness. He was 92.

Eleven Chadron State College seniors were recognized during Ivy Day on Friday for meeting the requirements for national tutor certification from the College Reading and Learning Association. The minimum requirements include 10 hours of training and 25 hours of hands-on tutoring.
