Two exhibits at Chadron State College’s Memorial Hall are featuring the work of a pair of Colorado artists who specialize in three-dimensional art. The work of Richard and Lauren Lipinski Eisen of Millikin, Colo., went on display in Memorial Hall on Monday. Richard Eisen said his work is the product of many eclectic sources, some of which are architectural and religious. He said that his work elevates certain industrial artifacts to an “icon-like” status.

Participants of a Chadron State College conference will again learn ways to improve their child care and education skills. Chadron State College’s 19th Excellence in Early Childhood Conference will be Friday and Saturday, Feb. 22-23, 2008, in Chadron. The conference will feature sessions on a wide range of early childhood topics presented by at more than a half dozen professionals. The conference’s theme is “United We Stand for Children … Free to Be.”
