The number of informational topics for Wednesday’s Regional Health Fair at Chadron State College continues to increase. Young and old are being rounded up for a cowboy adventure in the scenic Pine Ridge country of northwest Nebraska this summer. Chadron State College’s family learning vacation program, “Walk in Their Boots: The Cowboy Life,” will be presented June 23-26. Participants will learn cowboy skills at a working ranch, prepare cowboy “grub” with a chuckwagon cook, take in the region’s rich history, kick up their heels at a barn dance and listen to cowboy songs around the campfire.
