The number of informational topics for Wednesday’s Regional Health Fair at Chadron State College continues to increase. Shellie Johns, CSC’s director of conferencing, said about 30 organizations have signed up to present information at the event, which will be in CSC’s Student Center and Nelson Physical Activities Center.

Young and old are being rounded up for a cowboy adventure in the scenic Pine Ridge country of northwest Nebraska this summer. Chadron State College’s family learning vacation program, “Walk in Their Boots: The Cowboy Life,” will be presented June 23-26. Participants will learn cowboy skills at a working ranch, prepare cowboy “grub” with a chuckwagon cook, take in the region’s rich history, kick up their heels at a barn dance and listen to cowboy songs around the campfire.
