The popular musical comedy, “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown,” will open the season this weekend at the Post Playhouse at Fort Robinson. Shows will be presented Friday and Saturday (June 15 and 16) at 8 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. The playhouse will be closed on Monday nights, but “Charlie Brown” will be on stage again each evening June 19-23 and June 26-27. Another matinee is set for Sunday the 24th.

Con Marshall, who has served as Chadron State College’s director of information services and sports information for more than three decades, will “sort of” retire in July, as he puts it. Although Marshall will be officially retired he plans to remain involved with Chadron State for the next several years.

The Dean’s List for the 2007 spring semester at Chadron State College has been released. It requires a grade point average of at least 3.50 on the 4.0 scale. More than 350 students achieved the list.
