CHADRON – The Chadron State College Theatre Department has a busy year planned with four productions. The fall semester features a horror theme and Artist-in-Residence David Craven of Atlanta, Ga., assisting Theatre Professor Scott Cavin. In the spring semester, monsters and ghosts take the stage.

CHADRON – A cool, steady rain did not stop the Chadron State College Homecoming parade Saturday. Nearly 20 entries participated in spite of the weather. Nebraska State College System Chancellor Paul Turman was unable to serve as the parade’s grand marshal as planned. He was traveling to Chadron with the Old Green Plane crew early Saturday morning when they stopped in Ord, according to Dr. Randy Rhine, CSC President, and could not continue west due to Instrument Flight Rules.

CHADRON – Chadron State College will recognize four alumni for their exceptional service to the college, accomplishments in their careers and active involvement in their communities. Dr. Angela Brennan and Justice John Freudenberg will receive the Distinguished Alumni Award and Dr. Brendan "Dan" Connealy and Dr. Kendra Schmid will receive the Distinguished Young Alumni Award.

CHADRON – Nebraska State College System Chancellor Paul Turman will be the Chadron State College Homecoming Parade Marshal Saturday. The parade begins at 9:30 a.m. and will run north on Main St. The theme for homecoming is “Color the Town CSC.”
