The Chadron State College concert choir will be visiting four high schools the Black Hills this week and conclude its trip with a concert at 7:30 p.m. Friday, April 20 at the United Methodist Church at 629 Kansas City Street in Rapid City. The concert will be open to the public free of charge.

All 13 Chadron State College business majors who entered contests at the Nebraska Phi Beta Lambda Business Fraternity conference in Kearney on Saturday placed among the top eight in at least one event. Students from a dozen colleges and universities participated.CSC students earned two firsts and three seconds. Those placing among the top two in a contest are eligible to enter the national competition in Chicago in June.

Students from 10 western Nebraska high schools will be in Chadron on Friday, April 20 for the annual District 6 Music Contest. Although the Chadron State College Conferencing Office is coordinating the event, all of the competition will be at Chadron High School. Both instrumental and vocal soloists, small groups and large groups will be performing.
