Cindy Golden of Superior, Colo., will tell an audience at Chadron State College about her experiences as a member of the Strategic World Impact Tsunami Relief Team, a Christian ministry which has provided relief at the ravaged Banda Aceh area of Indonesia following the December 2004 disaster. Golden’s presentation, which is free and open to the public, will be Wednesday, April 20, at 7:30 p.m. at the Student Center.

Two Chadron State College graduates who have had outstanding careers as high school band directors were inducted into the CSC Music Hall of Fame Sunday afternoon during the wind ensemble concert. They are Robert Nygaard of Apple Valley, Calif., and Larry Rathbun of Millard North High School in Omaha. There are now 13 in the Hall of Fame.

For the sixth consecutive year, the Chadron State College Students in Free Enterprise team will compete at the annual National Exposition, which will be May 22-24 in Kansas City, Mo. The team qualified by being one of nine champions crowned at the regional competition in Denver on April 4. Twenty-five teams participated.
