CHADRON – “Compact Rhythms,” an exhibition from the Sheldon Museum of Art at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, will be in Memorial Hall’s Main Gallery Sept. 2-29. The Chadron State College Galaxy Series is sponsoring the exhibit. Hours for the Gallery are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

CHADRON – Chadron State College graduate Kevin Zhang of Alliance, Nebraska, is completing an internship with the United Nations this summer. Zhang, who is in his third year of law school at the University of Nebraska, was part of CSC’s inaugural Rural Law Opportunities Program (RLOP) cohort, and will conclude his full-time, remote internship by the end of September.

CHADRON – Chadron State College will be virtually co-hosting the One Big Thanks conference, a national event, with Texas A&M Oct. 24. The Big Event intern Emily Hansen of Hemingford, Nebraska, said CSC students led by Dr. Shaunda French-Collins have attended the One Big Thanks conference in College Station, Texas, since CSC first started hosting The Big Event, an annual spring day of service, in 2013.
