CHADRON – During May, Chadron residents likely noticed C-Hill looked a little different during the evening. That’s because for the past four years in May, the C on C-Hill has been illuminated for Mental Health Awareness Month. Terri Haynes, Project Manager of the Advancing Wellness and Resiliency in Education (AWARE) grant with Educational Service Unit 13, said the idea came about during discussions by local AWARE grant leaders.

CHADRON – A recent North Platte Community Playhouse production of Clue, based on the board game of the same name about a murder at a mansion with several suspects, featured four alumni of Chadron State College. Actors included Staysha Adams (2014) as Mrs. Peacock, Lane Swedberg (2016) as Mr. Green, Chantel Burch (2014) as Mrs. White, and Jesse Young (2015) as Wadsworth, the butler.

CHADRON – Chadron State College has announced the students on the Spring 2022 President’s and Dean’s Lists. The President's List consists of 344 students with a 4.0 grade point average on a 4.0 scale. Another 299 students met the requirements for the Dean’s List by earning at least a 3.5 grade point average.

CHADRON – Dr. Tara Hart has been appointed as Chadron State College’s next Dean of Student Affairs, President Randy Rhine announced Monday. Hart replaces current Dean of Student Affairs Jon Hansen, who will retire June 17.
