CHADRON – Chadron State College is participating in ReEngage Nebraska, a grant-funded program designed to reconnect adult learners who have paused their education and provide them with a clear, supportive pathway back to college to pursue a degree. The program focuses on students who have been away from CSC for more than a year by helping them return to coursework and complete their bachelor's degree.

CHADRON – Three Chadron State College students, Sonya Behrends of Alliance, Nebraska, and Danara Abshire and Piper Ryschon, both of Scottsbluff, Nebraska, will conduct research this summer with the Nebraska IDeA Network of Biomedical Research Excellence (INBRE) program.

CHADRON – Takarada, an art show by Gretchen Beck of Laguna Woods, California, is in Memorial Hall’s Main Gallery now until August 14. The Main Gallery is free and open to the public Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. or view by appointment by calling 308-432-6317. Beck’s work was accepted based on her response to a call for exhibits, according to Art Department chair Trudy Denham.

OMAHA – Twelve high school students were awarded the Nebraska State Colleges Multi-Activity Scholarship during the NSAA State Soccer Championships, recognizing their involvement in school activities and athletics.

CHADRON – Dalton Nelsen, a Chadron State College alum, was awarded the Spirit of Community Service Award at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) Faculty Senate annual meeting in April. The award recognizes faculty members who have used expertise, resources, talent and time outside their UNMC duties to provide community service.

CHADRON – Chadron State College has announced the undergraduate students on its Spring 2026 President’s and Dean’s Lists. The President's List consists of students with a 4.0 cumulative grade point average on a 4.0 scale. Students met the requirements for the Dean’s List by earning at least a 3.5 cumulative grade point average.
